I’m so glad you’re here!

I guess I should share a little about me, huh?

I’m a Gallup® Certified Strengths Coach, a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), and a New York Times bestselling romance author.

I know that’s a strange combo, but I’ve spent my life moving back and forth between my two passions—writing and counseling/coaching. I have a B.S. in Psychology and a Master of Social Work and was a therapist in my pre-author life, but I’ve found the practice of coaching is the perfect fit for me. Whereas therapy focuses on the past and the why of it all to aid healing, coaching focuses on the future and how to set goals and form habits to get to the kind of future you want. It’s a partnership rather than a practitioner/patient dynamic, and I love that. I’m on your team!

I’ve been coaching writers for the past couple of years with Becca Syme’s Better Faster Academy and have recently expanded to health and wellness coaching (for all, not just writers) after completing a program with mindbodygreen and getting board-certified.

Roni wrote her first romance novel at age fifteen when she discovered writing about boys was way easier than actually talking to them. Since then, her flirting skills haven’t improved, but she likes to think her storytelling ability has.
